Download Methods
Easy Digital Downloads allows one of 2 download methods to be selected to handle downloadable files:
- Forced
- Redirect
However, these settings will have no effect on this plugin.
This plugin will automatically use the Redirect option when a file is being downloaded.
Force Download
Forcing downloads can be managed from the plugin’s settings page.
This option works via Bunny instead of Easy Digital Downloads and it makes sure files are saved on the computer when downloaded, instead of being displayed in the browser window. (useful for videos, images and documents)
Additionally, there is no need to worry about any file protection by Easy Digital Downloads, since all files are fully protected via Bunny Storage and only accessible with a signed URL.
