Download Methods
WooCommerce allows one of 3 download methods to be selected to handle downloadable files:
- Force Downloads
- X-Accel-Redirect/X-Sendfile
- Redirect only
However, these settings will have no effect on this plugin.
This plugin will automatically use the Redirect Only option when a file is being downloaded.
Force Download
Forcing downloads can be managed from the plugin’s settings page.
This option works via Bunny instead of WooCommerce and it makes sure files are saved on the computer when downloaded, instead of being displayed in the browser window. (useful for videos, images and documents)
Additionally, there is no need to worry about any file protection by WooCommerce, since all files are fully protected via Bunny Storage and only accessible with a signed URL.
